What you can expect from me as a freelancer:
Getting yourself into any new business situation can present questions that often go unasked and unanswered. I believe that an open and honest relationship with people will result in trusting relationships and a better working relationship. If you ever have any questions about anything along the way, pleae feel free to ask!
You contact me, then what?
We'll have a discussion about what you are looking for and I'll let you know if I'm the best person for your job. If I think I can help, then I'll give you a written estimate that you can look over that will detail the specifics of your job. It will likely have a number of different options with different levels of features, depending on the type and complexity of project. If I don't think I'm the best person for your job (such is probably the case with back-end heavy sites) then I'll try to recommend somebody else that can help you.
If you feel comfortable with my estimate, I'll start researching your situation. From here on out I work closely with you and probably seek more of your feedback than you'd think. You know your goals better than anybody else, so I want to make sure I understand them the way you understand them.
Along the way I'll keep you up to date on my progress and we can continuously tweak the work to make sure you get the results you want. I'll give you the best I've got up my sleeve, but I'll never go overboard unless you tell me to – so you can be sure your are getting what you want and what you want to pay for.

Services:
Art Direction + Design
I have successfully directed projects for a team that span
print design, interactive, motion graphics and photography.
Beginning with initial evaluation of client needs and resulting
in a final campaign – idea generation, scope and parameters
change along the way. I have experience reacting to these
factors and managing the changes in direction that are
necessary to complete projects and ensure that they remain
successful, on time and within budget.
Web/Interactive Design + Production
My web expertise extends beyond simple design/production
and is grounded in studyinging user interface interaction,
SEO and web standards. Understanding interaction has
allowed me to take an analytic approach to designing
systems that work best for a targeted audience. Developing
standards–compliant sites allows for better SEO, scalability
and a more flexible platform.
Marketing
Studying marketing from a business administration
perspective including; research methodolgy, statistical
analysis, marketing mix and advertising allows me to
take a unique perspective on design and bridge the gap
between historically separated professions. Bringing these
competencies to the table allows me to communicate
effectively and efficiently with these professionals and create
media with value added for clients without the backing of a
marketing department.
Photography
I primarily shoot digital and have expertise in digital
processing and retouching, but also have knowledge of
darkroom processing. I have shot professionally on-location
as well as in studio setups ranging from action to products
and am familiar with lighting techniques indoors and out. I
specialize in photorealistic digital manipulation.
